Last week Amy and I drove around Deep Ellum in Dallas, Tx trying to find new locations to shoot at and boy did we find some!!!! Deep Ellum has come along way in the last 4 years. The city has been working to bring it back to life and it’s eclectic flair is catching my attention for sure!
As a photographer the client relies on us to know what will look best in their photos and they can’t always “SEE” what we see. So some places might not look like a great spot to our clients but through the lens, with the right angle, lighting, and depth of field it’s GOLD!
What do you guys think of my top 10 spots we found?
-I love shiny reflective surfaces and these tiles would make a photo pop
-how fun to have a family spread out between these bars?
-Great geometric and colorful wall
-This is a open concept courtyard in a new Loft…shooting through these bars and in front of them would be killer.
-For the minimalist 🙂
-This place had some GREAT spots (might be doing my minis here this year), and reminds me of one of my favorite places in Austin called the Cathedral of Junk.
-The musician in me adores this wall!
-I went looking for this wall after seeing an engagement session taken in front of it. Love the multi color windows.
That’s all for now! Check out what my other fellow 10 on 10-ers have been up to.
